Anything produced on paper or board for a business — stationery, folders, forms, certificates, posters, point-of-sale, signage, mailers and inserts. The common thread is that all of it is physically produced, so all of it needs correct bleed, safe margins, CMYK colour and print-resolution images.
Because it changes the result. The same ink looks different on uncoated, silk and gloss stock; uncoated absorbs ink and reads softer, gloss holds colour sharply. Weight affects how a piece feels in the hand. Choosing stock before the design is finished means the colours are judged in the right context.
Where it will be seen together, yes. Stationery, folders and inserts that arrive in one envelope should obviously belong to each other. Designing them as a system also makes adding a new item later a matter of applying the rules rather than starting again.
The press-ready PDF and the editable source file. The PDF lets you reprint as-is; without the source, any future change — an address, a phone number — means rebuilding the artwork from scratch.
